My Letter from Mother Teresa

Sunday, October 15, 2006

On the Feast of Teresa of Avila, I am printing a copy of a letter I received (in 1998) from a Saint who took her name.

I recognize that typewriter! Mother sent me a letter when I wrote her asking to volunteer in her convent in Guatemala. She thought I had a vocation, and instead sent me to the nearby Bronx. I spent a wonderful day with her sisters there, but it wasn't for me.
I regret so much that I have lost this relic!
