Wild "Thang!" Irish Win in O.T.

Notre Dame's Ryan Thang scored two goals, including the game winner in the game's second overtime, as the Irish edged Alabama-Huntsville 3-2 to gain a spot in NCAA hockey's final eight.

The Irish raced to an early 2-0 lead less than five minutes into the tilt, but could not dent the net again until "Wild" Thang's second score. Notre Dame plays for a spot in the "Frozen Four" tonight against Michigan St.
